FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves covering ring base with ground insulation, with mechanically strong sheath placed overall, installation of shrink ring obtained into mold, its molding, and heat treatment. According to invention, mold is made of pre-impregnated complex unidirectional glass threads; ground insulation is made of pre-impregnated insulating tape applied at ambient temperature, and heat treatment of ground insulation and sheath is made simultaneously.
