FIELD: physics, communications.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns mobile wireless terminals (MWT) with multiple modems which operation is limited by total transmission power limits of all modems. To achieve the objective, MWT includes multiple wireless modems. Respective transmitted output signals of multiple modems are united to obtain total transmitted output signal. Multiple modems can transmit data in reverse communication line direction and receive data in direct communication line direction simultaneously. MWT operation is limited by total transmission power limit. Each of multiple modems has individual transmission limit related to total transmission power limit. MWT controller adjusts individual transmission power limits of multiple modems with account of total MWT transmission power limit and respective estimated modem transmission rates, so that each individual transmission power limit agreed with respective transmission power of separate modem.

EFFECT: minimised bandwidth reduction for direct and reverse communication line.
