FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to presentation of access to data transmission network and may be used to reduce crosstalk between modems connected to a set of communication lines. Device (10) for providing access to data transmission network for modems (22, 24, 26, 28) is connected to modems through a set of communication lines (14, 16, 18, 20). First group of modems (22, 24, 26) supports vectorization, and the second group does not support vectorization. Analyses the expected value of the element in the range of synchronisation, which must be received by modem (28) in the second group, analyses the value of the element, at least one data sequence, assigned communication line of the modem, compares values, selects element analysed sequence of data for transmission, if the value of the item corresponds to the expected value and transmits the selected element together with the corresponding elements of a number of pilot sequences assigned to the first group of modems through a set of communication lines.
EFFECT: technical result is mitigation of negative effect on the side of modems, not supporting vectorization on such vectorization executed relative to other modems which support vectorization.
