In a wireless broadband communication system using OFDM/OFDMA circuit, upline time sinchronisation between BS and SS and BS receiving signal intensity are set, and frequency band adjustment signal is transmitted from SS to BS so that SS would issue a frequency band query to BS.

EFFECT: minimised mutual jamming of frequency ban adjustment signal and data signal.
