SUBSTANCE: invention concerns communication technology and can be applied in periodic scaling in idle mode in broadband wireless communication system featuring active mode. To achieve the objective, the method involves active mode when data to be transferred between Mobile Share Service (MSS) and Base Station (BS) exist, and idle mode when data to be transferred between MSS and BS do not exist. Idle mode includes idle interval and read-through interval, with MSS can receive data in read-through interval and cannot receive data in idle interval. In the read-through interval BS notifies MSS of the necessity to perform periodic scaling by MSS in idle interval, if BS detects necessity for MSS to perform periodic scaling in specific time point within idle interval.
EFFECT: periodic scaling in specific time point within idle interval.
