FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: composition for gas sorption, selected from water vapour and oxygen, contains sorbing gas component, selected from calcium oxide, strontium oxide, barium oxide and magnesium oxide, boron oxide, manganese (II) oxide, iron (II) oxide, metal nickel, γ-aluminium oxide and their combinations, dispersed in phenyl-methyl-polysiloxane resin, composition being obtained by mixing phenyl-methyl-polysiloxane resin with at least one precursor of gas-sorbing component, selected from group: calcium hydroxide, strontium hydroxide, barium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, boric acid, manganese (II) carbonate, iron (II) oxalate, nickel (II) oxalate, aluminium hydroxide-nostrandite, aluminium oxohydroxide-bemit and their combinations, and thermal processing of thus obtained mixture under vacuum or in atmosphere of gas, inert with respect to said sorbing component, in conditions that ensure conversion of sorbing component precursor into sorbing component. Device can be used in light-radiating organic display.
EFFECT: composition and device do not need inert atmosphere during storage and transportation.
