FIELD: various-destination materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions containing non-vaporizable getter alloys, which can be applied, for instance, in x-ray tubes, vacuum jackets for heat insulation, fluorescent lamps, and plasma displays. Getter composition regenerable by treatment at temperature lower than temperature of preceding action of reaction gases consists of mixture of powders of first and second components. The former is titanium or titanium mixture and up to 50% of nickel and/or cobalt and the latter is non-vaporizable getter alloy containing zirconium (60-90%), vanadium (2-20%), iron (0.5-15%), and at least one component selected from manganese (0-30%) and one or several elements (up to 10%) selected from yttrium, lanthanum, and/or rare earth metals.

EFFECT: increased sorption capacity.
