FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed composite materials capable of sorbing hydrogen even upon impact of great amount of passivating gases, such as water and oxygen, are produced from nonvolatile getter materials whose surface is at least partially covered with deposited layer of palladium, palladium-silver or palladium oxide alloys, or compounds obtained by reaction between palladium and nonvolatile getter material. Proposed invention includes methods for producing such composite materials.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of composite materials.
