SUBSTANCE: air hammer incorporates housing (5) arranged in casing (2) furnished with damping spring (8) fitted therein between collar (7) of housing (5) and collar (9) of casing (2). Housing (5) accommodates striker (1) for it to reciprocate therein. The air hammer comprises handle (1) and sleeve (3) fitted between casing (2) and handle (1) to form with it an air damping chamber (4). The upper part (6) of housing (5) limited by collar (7) slides in sleeve (3) to enter the air damping chamber (4).
