FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: electric tie tamper incorporates an electric motor with a stepwise double-cantilever shaft that features a symmetric step diameter reduction relative to the rotor center and arranged inside the pipe coupled with the shaft and the rotor and running in two bearings fitted in the housing. The space between the pipe and the shaft is filled with elastomer. Note here that the bearings in the housing and unbalanced mass on the shaft ends are arranged on opposite rotor sides at equal distance from the rotor center. The unbalanced masses are shifted relative to each other in the plate of rotation by 180°. Mind that the lining is arranged on the housing so that its lengthwise axis crosses the rotor center.
EFFECT: tamper lower weight, longer life and higher efficiency.
