FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: technology involves seismic exploration by common depth point method and defining scheduled position of anomalous zones. Additionally geoelectrochemical shooting is performed, and scheduled position of anomalous zones is defined. For seismic exploration, zones located at target floor possibly bearing oil and gas field are selected as anomalous zones. In anomalous zones, effective cross-section of seismic wave backscattering is examined for waves of the size comparable to seismic wave length and identified as acoustic medium irregularities in random wave fields of different frequency composition. Presence of oil and gas field can be determined by scheduled coincidence of geoelectrochemical and seismic anomalies.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of oil and gas survey works, improved forecast reliability for oil and gas occurrence at local object.
