FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of electric engineering and may be used for supply of low voltage DC loads from power supply sources that are remote from loads and are installed in field conditions. On transmitting side low DC voltage from power supply source installed in mobile object or in the area in field conditions is sent to voltage transducer, which transforms it into high DC voltage, then high voltage is sent through double-wire cable line of light field cable to low voltage loads. In receiving end of double-wire cable line high DC voltage is back transformed into low DC voltage, then low DC voltage is stabilised, and uninterruptedness of DC power supply to loads is maintained by means of accumulator battery connection in buffer mode in case of power supply source disappearance or reduction of cable line parameters below the permissible limit. Device that implements suggested method contains the following components in transmitting side: switchboard, DC voltage transducer that consists of inlet filter, inverter, step-up transformer, rectifier and outlet filter, two units of power transmission line control, cable line, and the following components in receiving side: DC voltage transducer that consists of inlet filter, inverter, step-down transformer, rectifier and pulse voltage stabiliser, and accumulator battery connected in buffer mode.
EFFECT: increase of low voltage loads power supply efficiency.
