SUBSTANCE: manual weed root cutter comprising a body with an operating part widening towards the bottom, and a handle. The operating part of the body is made as a trough with a lower edge and side edges, by cutting a part of a pipe alongside and expanding it. The trough section is an arc with a radius increasing towards the lower edge.
EFFECT: design allows to decrease power consumption and enhance weed removal efficiency.
