FIELD: horticulture, in particular, hand-held technique used for soil cultivation in gardens by cutting-off weed plants by the roots and raking in piles.
SUBSTANCE: combined apparatus has rake type working tool, cutting blade, and shank. Rake type working tool has a number of curved teeth connected to rake base. Cutting blade is connected over its front surface with rake base by means of members for adjusting their relative position in longitudinal axial direction of apparatus. When apparatus is used as cutting tool, it rests upon ground surface with curved part of two outer teeth of rake type working tool, while free ends of teeth are raised above soil surface without hindering advancement of apparatus. Blade is positioned between supporting outer teeth so as to form in conjunction with ground surface angle determined by value of main rear angle ranging between 7 deg and 25 deg during operation of apparatus. On rotation of apparatus through 180 deg it is used as common rake.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and wider operational capabilities of apparatus.
