FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises calculating available storage house potential capacity, processing capacity and measuring mean daily temperature in the storage house. It also includes determining the storage house usable area, calculating the freight storing maximum admissible height, the resulted magnitudes allowing the determination of the storage house usable volume making a measure of its potential cubic capacity. The method incorporates also calculating number of separate loading/unloading stations, measuring the total length of all loading/unloading ramps and platforms, determining number of trucks to be arranged along the aforesaid ramps and platforms and that of them that can be loaded/unloaded at a time. Note that the latter is selected to make a measure of the storage facility processing capacity.
EFFECT: possibility of determining storage facility adequacy.
