SUBSTANCE: in this method CP (control protocol) IP configuration request message prompting to assign IP-address is transmitted using terminal equipment, this is modified using mobile phone to remove option of IP-address request. Other configuration options are transmitted unaltered using mobile phone to peer node of network/to network which answers by acknowledgment of requested configuration options. Flow control is approved to allow registration of mobile IP. During registration IP-address is assigned to mobile device using External Agent (EA). After mobile IP registration has been completed approval of flow control between mobile phone and terminal is canceled and IP-address assigned during mobile IP registration is submitted to terminal equipment. The system contains transmitter, receiver connected through radio communications device and processor intended for processing the configuration request message.
