FIELD: technology for requesting samples of two-point communication protocol from network, providing packet data transfer service, for mobile station, configured for sending outgoing message to packet data service node, at which mobile station arrived prior to leaving vicinity of another packet data service node.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, message informs new packet data service node about new position of mobile station and denotes number of potential samples of two-point communication protocol, connected to mobile station, and link service indicator for each aforementioned sample of two-point communication protocol. Technical result is achieved due to decrease of information, contained in messages from network element "base station", which are sent to network element "packet data service node", by decreasing number of transferred identifiers, connected to mobile station.
EFFECT: optimized resources of packet data service node communication channels.
