FIELD: engines and pumps, mining.
SUBSTANCE: proposed jaw crusher comprises a bed, a fixed jaw and a moving jaw articulated with the drive forming a crushing chamber, a detachable lining of both aforesaid jaws. The latter is furnished with curvilinear ledges arranged at the crushing chamber center and facing its inner side. Note that the angle between the tangents at the points the said ledge inner edge abut on the lining flat surface does not exceed a double angle of friction between the lining and rocks being crushed. Note also that the fixed jaw ledge is arranged at the center of the crushing chamber while those on the moving jaw are arranged along the crushing chamber edges not overlapping each other over the width of crushing chamber. The ledge upper edges are shifted downward from the crusher inlet by the magnitude equal to the distance between the fixed and moving jaws in the crushing chamber upper part. Mind that the curvilinear ledges are profiled along the variable-curvature-radius arcs, the radius decreasing from the ledge top edge to the ledge bottom edge.
EFFECT: unloading crushed rock size equal to crusher unloading slot size.
