FIELD: mining engineering.
SUBSTANCE: rock is loaded into the jaw crusher crushing chamber by crushing it between its movable and fixed cheeks. The additional vibratory action is carried out on the side of the slabs installed with the height offset on the working side of the fixed cheek and having its own drive. The drives provide an individual amplitude and frequency of oscillations. Drives are turned on and off as boards interact with crushed rock pieces. Unloading of pieces of commodity fraction is carried out through the output slot of the crushing chamber.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the effort required for crushing, which leads to a reduction in energy costs.
