FIELD: textile.
SUBSTANCE: method includes calculation of optimal position of layer Xopt relative to clamp line of conveyor of the second threshing machine subject to average length of stems and standard deviation by vertex and butt ends, layer displacement into the side of stems along-track direction, stratum preshaping by means of its thinning, stems knead, and its mechanical treatment in two threshing machine. Calculation of standard deviation by vertex butt ends and average length are implemented after stems knead with further definition of actual current position of stratum X relative to clump line of conveyor of the second threshing machine, then it is calculated quantity Δ=X-Xopt and displaced stratum which is directly before clump in conveyor of threshing machine for quantity Δ in direction, perpendicular to driving direction of stratum subject to sign of quantity Δ.
EFFECT: suggested method provides increasing of long fiber output, and doesn't require considerable investments, because its realisation is not connected to creation of new machines, but based on improving of existing machinery.
