FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: pump rod damper represents a cylindrical casing with a plug and an end face guide. The aforesaid casing is furnished with one or two pneumatic chambers and a piston with the space formed there between filled with rated-volume oil. Note here that the piston is linked to the con-rod furnished with oil overflow channel, the overflow rate being adjusted by the jet arranged on the con-rod end face.
EFFECT: pump rod higher efficiency along with reduced inertial loads at rod suspension points.
