FIELD: oil industry; production of viscous oil and oil emulsions. SUBSTANCE: proposed pumping unit includes pump, oil well tubing, sucker rods and compensators made in form of sleeve with cover connecting heads of upper and lower sucker rods. Head of lower sucker rod is stepped. Sleeve is provided with flexible members; one flexible member is connected with cover and other flexible member is connected with bottom of sleeve. Flexible members are connected with guides mounted for engagement with head of lower sucker rod. Proposed pumping unit reduces breaks and twisting of sucker rods. EFFECT: reduced inertial loads at point of suspension of sucker rods at up and down strokes. 3 cl, 2 dwg
