FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied in radio broadcast and TV receiving systems operating in metre and decimetre wavebands. Antenna includes linear conductors and consists of two square loops for the main band and two square loops for additional band, formed by halves of main loop sides connected to feed points, and two bridges bent in their central points at direct angle. Silicon diode thyristors controlled by voltage fed over coaxial cable from control circuit are positioned in loop gaps at the tops opposite to feed points.
EFFECT: simplified antenna construction, extended work band.
