FIELD: antenna engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed loop antenna designed for use in radio and radio-relay communication systems, television, and wireless Internet operating in USW range has main-band loop and similar additional-band loops; perimeter of these loops equals mean wavelength of main and additional bands; additional-band loops are disposed in planes parallel to plane of main-band loop; they are joined together and secured at zero-potential points. Shorting quarter-wave stubs are inserted in open circuits of loops at diametrically opposite apexes; they are disposed at 45 deg. to loop plane and connected crosswise to common two-wire power line.
EFFECT: reduced cross-sectional dimensions, extended operating frequency band.
