FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: probationers exercise a step-test within 12 minutes, after which during 10 seconds of 1 minute of the rest pulse frequency is measured and maximum oxygen consumption is determined. Thereafter pulse frequency is measured during the first 30 seconds of the 2d, 3d and 4th minutes of the rest according to formula in nominal units, where: IHT - index of human tolerance; W - exercises, which are made by probationers within 12 minutes per kg of body weight with predetermined parameters of the step-test, that is step height and frequency of insteps within 1 minute; f2, f3 and f4 - pulse frequency for the first 30 seconds of the 2d, 3d and 4th minutes of the rest according to which human tolerance is determined.
EFFECT: method ensures opportunity to determine maximum oxygen consumption and human tolerance within one exercise test.
