FIELD: medicine; physical culture; monitoring physical health of children and adults. SUBSTANCE: technique consists of passive, active, and recovery phases of diagnostics. Passive diagnostics include metering weight-to-height ratio, tranquil pulse, arterial pressure, life index, oxygen consumption. Estimated during active diagnostics are flexibility of spinal column, motor and pupillary reaction by testing for gripping dropping ruler, muscular endurance of arms and shoulder girdle by counting how many times can patient get loose of floor, muscular endurance of prelum abdominale. Recovery phase includes assessing ability of pulse to recover and, in addition, hypoxia stability by arbitrary and maximal breath holding, coordination of movements, general working capacity, stroke blood volume. Numeric expression of each separately metered characteristic is converted to weight coefficients. All weight coefficients are summed up and weight coefficients characterizing motor activity, intensity of smoking, intensity of drinking alcohol obtained by patient's self-appraisal are added to them. Index of physical state obtained is used to estimate physical state and health reserves by comparing it with readings of human health estimate scale.
