FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: water-impermeable bio-electrode consists of an electrode strip, which should be put into a living body, and conductor, which should be connected to the electrode strip. The electrode strip has a water-impermeable base, which has an adhesive contact surface and an opening at its centre, a water-impermeable sealing element, which fastens the wire terminal to the lower contact surface of the base, together with which covers the opening, such that the detecting electrode, installed at the external end of the wire, comes out of the water-impermeable base, and a current conducting gel, deposited on the contact surface for coming into contact with the detecting electrode.

EFFECT: higher water impermeability, comfortable for putting on.
