FIELD: transportation, physics.

SUBSTANCE: inductive-wire sensor contains measurement oscillator the input of which is connected with inductive stub and the output is connected to object presence detection circuit (PDC). In the first version, PDC contains connected in series mixer the input of which is the input of PDC, filter and threshold device, connected to the first input of controller the second input of which is connected with temperature sensor, at that, one of controller outputs is connected with the first input of reference oscillator and pulse oscillator is connected to the second input of reference oscillator and to the third input of controller, at that, threshold device output is the output of PDC. In the second version, PDC contains comparator and processor connected in series, at that, the comparator converts entered signal into pulse and brings it up to the level necessary for processor which detects the presence of signal from measurement oscillator and analyses frequency time variation. The sensor may contain two PDCs connected in parallel between measurement oscillator and summing unit. PDC may contain watchdog timer, indication device or level converter.

EFFECT: device reliability enhancement and providing safety of shunting operations.
