FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention aims at determining the occupancy of controlled slit switch track section by rolling stock and proceeds from combined use of radio technical and inductive-wire pickups. The proposed unit comprises inductive-wire transducer (IWP), radio technical pickup (RTP) of controlling slip switch section free state, combined output of the slip switch section free state control signal generated directly in IWP and RTP devices, electronic module cell converting the IWP loopback oscillations. The slip switch free state/occupancy signals and diagnostic data from IWP and RTP are sent to the input of central processor incorporating two independent data processing channels. The processed information comes to the comparator. Given the discrepancy, microcontrollers are restarted.
EFFECT: valid detection of cars of all types over entire length of controlled section.
