LEACHING METHOD FOR PRODUCTS, CONTAINING METALS SULFIDES Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC C22B3/08 

FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns hydrometallurgy and ore benefication, extraction of nonferrous, less-common and noble metals from sulfide minerals, reprocessing of ore, concentrates and withdrawals of ore-dressing and metallurgical manufacturing, including concentrates, middlings, tails, slags, sludges and others. Technical effect of current invention is increasing of metals extraction from products contining metals sulfides, decreasing of leaching time, decreasing of energy consumption used for leaching. Reprocessing method of products containing metals sulfides includes product's fine grinding, agitation leaching at blending and temperature 20-95°C, content of solid phase 9-30% in water solution of sulfuric acid by concentration 2.0÷150.0 g/dm³, containing ferric iron ions by concentration 3÷20 g/dm³. At leaching it is implemented exposure to ultrasound from the device at the bottom of tank and continuous feed of hydrogen peroxide by concentration 30-50% and ozone by concentration in gas mixture 100-200 mg/dm³, at ratio of ozone consumption to hydrogen peroxide consumption 1:1÷2. Then from products of leaching there are extracted metals.

EFFECT: increasing of metals extraction from products containing metals sulfides, decreasing of leaching time, decreasing of power consumption needed for leaching.
