FIELD: hydrometallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the hydrometallurgical extraction of non-ferrous, rare and noble metals from mineral raw materials containing metal sulfides, mainly from concentrates and beneficiation products, rich ores. A method for dissolving metal sulfides using ozone and hydrogen peroxide includes grinding metal sulfides, dissolving ground metal sulfides in vats with stirring in an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid using a combination of three oxidizing agents - ferric ions, ozone and hydrogen peroxide, while determining the concentration of ozone in the outgoing from the vat gas, and with an increase in the concentration of ozone in the gas leaving the vat, the consumption of ozone and hydrogen peroxide is reduced. The dissolution of metal sulfides is carried out using ultrasonic treatment.
EFFECT: increasing the degree of use of oxidizing agents for the dissolution of sulfide minerals, reducing the unproductive consumption of oxidizing agents and the consumption of electricity for processing.
