FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes preprocessing of filter-residuals, burdening of alloy, melting and teeming. Preprocessing of filter-residuals is implemented by solution of inorganic acid, for instance, sulfuric with concentration not more than 20%. Filter material is dissolved, and metal is isolated in the form of metal sponge, which is directed to manufacturing of alloys on the basis of aluminum. Received solution is filtered in order to extract fine-dispersed corundum. Strained sulfuric solution is neutralized by quicklime with receiving of gypsum. It is provided reduction of metal irretrievable loss during the process of aluminum and its alloys teeming, usage of aluminum from filter-residuals at manufacturing of commodity aluminum.
