FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed booster is designed to control hydraulic actuators incorporated with various machinery. The booster comprises a working fluid source, two working fluid supply lines, two constant rate throttles, a circular magnetostriction drive made from one-type material and composed of two like-winding half-arcs, a dog and a control unit. The electronic control unit generates antipodal current signals to be fed into the differential windings, their magnetic fields being used to vary the drive half-arc length, hence to make a polar change in the dog and distributor positions, hence, to re-distribute the outlet operating pressures in the preset range.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and rate of conversion.
