FIELD: armament, ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: shell comprises a casing with an explosive charge, a splinter unit and a head cap incorporating a head contact assembly and setting receiver. The splinter unit is made up of two concentric parts, i.e. an inner axial part arranged in the tube and comprising an axial charge of explosive and an outer movable part arranged to move along the tube. There is a pyrotechnic charge, i.e. a pusher with an igniter, arranged between the explosive charge front end face and unit movable part.
EFFECT: higher injurious effect.
