FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: spectacle frame has small arches, each of which has at its end, two fingers resting on the lateral surface of the rim in its longitudinal direction. The rim has one mating component on the left side and another on the right side, the end of which points in the direction of the corresponding small arch when folded. On each mating component on the upper and lower part there are connecting elements in form of pins, which are linked to hinges or bearing housings, located on the upper finger of the small arches, or respectively on the lower finger, and such that a hinge joint is formed.
EFFECT: design of spectacle rims, which provides for simple assembly of small arches and prevention of weakening of the small arched of the rims independent of mechanical pressure on the spectacles.
