FIELD: medical engineering; spectacle frames. SUBSTANCE: articulation pivot used to join spectacle frame rim with U-link has two links and coupling member. One link of articulation pivot is made in the form of flexible- material bent strip one of whose ends is fixed to U-link and other end is made in the form of hinge. Articulation point links impart elastic properties to articulation pivot and are made in the form of decorative members of various configurations. Proposed articulation pivot can be used for both plastic and metal frames of spectacles. EFFECT: simplified design of articulated pivot sections. 5 dwg
