FIELD: physics; fire prevention.
SUBSTANCE: high-expansion mechanical foam generator consists of a case with a diffuser, a packet of nets, a turbine with an atomiser, made in form a cup fixed on a hollow shaft, and a propeller. Two tangential holes at the bottom of the body of the central atomiser form an empirically determined acute angle with the tangent to the inner circumference of the atomiser. Two tangential holes of the lateral atomisers form an empirically determined acute angle with the tangent to the circle of rotation of the lateral atomisers. The ratio between the inlet and outlet openings of the diffuser, as well as the ratio between the diameter of the outlet opening of the diffuser and the distance from the atomizer to the grid for the parametric row of generators of this given type is a constant value.
EFFECT: production of fire-extinguishing high-expansion mechanical foam.
