FIELD: mechanics, production processes.

SUBSTANCE: water treatment cartridge can be tightly connected to and disconnected from the water treatment device. The said cartridge comprises a casing, water inlet and purified water outlet, carbon-containing water treatment material. The aforesaid material lets water pass through it, from inlet to outlet. The cartridge comprises also the first pipe, its inner and/or outer surfaces representing a sealing surface, the second pipe with like surfaces. The said first pipe extends from the casing to surround the outlet, a part of the first pipe, or the second one, surrounds each other so as to form a gap between the first and second pipes to keep a certain amount of water therein. The water treatment device whereto the aforesaid cartridge can be connected and disconnected therefrom consists of the outlet casing and an air inlet casing. A part of the outlet casing inner surface forms a purified water outlet channel. The said water treatment device is connected to the aforesaid cartridge so that the first pipe tightly envelopes the outlet casing. The second pipe tightly envelopes the air inlet casing so that the first pipe inner surface and that of the outlet casing communicate there between, as well as the first pipe outer surface and the second pipe inner surface.

EFFECT: reduced probability of repeated contamination of purified water.
