FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ICE designs. The proposed internal combustion engine incorporates drive mechanism and power unit comprising cylinder with fuel intake orifices, exhaust gas discharge orifices and ignition element. The power unit comprises sector cylinder with a shaft fitted therein and two identical sectors fitted into the sector cylinder and rigidly coupled with the shaft. The sector cylinder power shafts are rigidly fitted on its end face surface in symmetry with the shaft. The flange a lever is rigidly coupled with the shaft and incorporates power axles arranged in symmetry at the distance, equal to radius, from the shaft center like the power axles of the sector cylinder. The drive mechanism incorporates a system of con-rods, a gear wheel assembly and, either a sleeve fitted on the shaft with two crankshafts, or one crankshaft with the levers, con-rods, or one crankshaft with the levers, con-rods, fitted at the center of rotation of the power axles. The ignition element is arranged at the cylinder top part and represents a refractory metal wire and incorporates a power supply and a current source. The cylinder is furnished with a device intended for varying the compression ratio and representing a sleeve with washers.
EFFECT: higher ICE reliability, reduced weight and sizes with engine output increased.
