FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic turbines and is designed to convert the incident water power into mechanical power driving the shaft whereon a turbine and a generator are fitted. The hydraulic turbine comprises a vane wheel rotor with the blades their edges being rigidly fixed with the plates. The hydraulic turbine central chamber accommodates a stator with profiled vanes their edges being rigidly fixed to the fixed plates separated by seals from the rotor vanes. The hydraulic unit shaft terminates in a flange coupled with one of the rotor plates. The other rotor plate is rigidly coupled with the bearing housing resting upon the hydraulic turbine fixed shaft rigidly fitted in the hydraulic turbine fixed shaft. The blading section provided for an optimum liquid flow in the central chamber.
EFFECT: minimum power losses in central vane wheel rotor part, maximum efficiency of dual-action hydraulic turbine along with minimum effects of hydrodynamic disturbing forces acting on hydraulic turbine blading section.
