FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, to devices for extracting energy from a liquid stream. The shaftless straight-flow turbine contains a housing 5, an impeller 2 with blades inside the rim covering the ends of the blades, a generator rotor with permanent magnet poles 4, which is one with the rim, a generator stator 9 with windings 8 in the housing 5. The blades of the impeller 2 are made twisted on a helical surface. The rim is made with a central cylindrical hole. The stator 9 with the generator windings 8 is hermetically placed in the compound 10 and held in the cylindrical housing 5 by means of end caps 1, 7 having ring gaskets 13, 14, ensuring tightness of the connection with the housing 5 and the flanges of external pipelines by means of studs 12. The ends of the windings 8 are removed through the hermetic outlet 11 in the housing 5. The impeller 2 is rotatable in thrust bearings with separators 15 on ceramic balls 3, 6 rolling along the support surfaces in the form of faces providing at least two points of contact with the ball 3, 6 of the housing 5 and covers 1, 7.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at simplifying the design, ensuring reliability, efficiency and durability of work.
