SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to measuring techniques. The method involves continuous recording of changes in volumetric deformation of the test sample. Volumetric deformations, related to transition of water into ice are determined, on the basis of which frost-resistance of the concrete is determined. A standard test sample is pre-cooled and a graph of changes in volumetric deformation of the standard sample against time is drawn, which is the used to determine the frost-resistance of concrete, with alignment of the initial section of the graph for the test sample with the initial section of the graph for the standard test sample.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of determining frost-resistance.
