FIELD: physics; communications.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to wireless framework systems, particularly to the use of drivers when receiving and processing received packets. A system of drivers is provided, which communicates with the network stack and the network interface card (NIC), and the server of the station, which communicates with the driver of the station and the 802.1X caller or 802.1X authentication medium. Each NIC provides support for functional capabilities of the station and/or access point. The driver rejects received packets, if the packet was not authenticated or associated. Packets which were fragmented or enciphered are collected and decoded again. The association control medium is used together with the configuration table control medium for associating the station and access points through control packets. The control medium receives 802.1X data packets from the packet processor and sends them to the server of the station, which communicates with user mode applications and 802.1X caller or 802.1X authentication medium, which are used for authentication or de-authentication of the station or access points. An API interface is used to provide for communication between components.
EFFECT: easier configuration of a wireless network device.
