FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: antenna contains working elements including one of three conductive-braided captive ropes (conducting rope), counterpoise earth, umbrella-type capacitive load and vertical bar. The bar consists of two interpenetrating conductive pipes interconnecting to contact pad. One pipe is rigidly connected to lower pole of balloon gas bag, and another one is pivoted with respect to vertical axis. Aerodynamic solid body is mounted with retain strap at bar top, "umbrella" is shaped by radial conductors attached on surface of solid body. Connection point of conductors is fixed on bar top, and their free ends on solid body frame. Working elements of antenna are electrically interconnected. Antenna is excited by means of transceiver output of which is connected to conducting rope, and its body is connected to counterpoise earth. Captive balloon rise is reduced 1.8÷2.2 times with maintained antenna performance; gas consumption is considerably reduced. Reliable meteo-stable design is produced.
