FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: according to the offered method mulching of the soil is performed using the material, which is cut into strips with formation of cells for planting. Creation of the mulching surface of the bed is performed by laying, intercropping and binding of strips among them. Thereat the mulching material for an exception of formation of waste is cut in curved or curved and straight lines in such a manner that cells for planting form after performance of operations of turn or U-turn, or shift, or overturning of the cut strips and their combination, with placing of cells in a line or in chessboard order against each other.
EFFECT: allows carrying out any agrotechnical operations without lifting of all mulching material.
