FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method includes method of copying with periodical division, in which processed gear is conveyed with rotational movements around its axis and axis of imaginary production wheel, axis of which crosses with axis of the processed gear, under conditions of center-to-center distance change from value equal to diameter of initial circumference of processed gear in neck section to the value equal to the sum of radiuses of initial circumferences in its end and neck sections. Axis of milling cutter is installed parallel to generatrix of initial hyperboloid of gear in its neck section, and reciprocal movement around its axis is conveyed to milling cutter. Process of division is carried out at the angle, the value of which is defined according to given dependence. Processing of gear teeth is made with standard modular disk or finger milling cutter from the set of cutters. At that selection of milling cutter number is done based on given number of teeth defined according to given formula.
EFFECT: increase of loading capacity and manufacturability of production.
