FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: lift contains cabin and essentially horizontal platform (1) made with capability to move essentially in vertical plane via drive unit located underneath. Drive unit includes at least one pair of levers (11, 12) capable of turning, i.e. hinged via axle (22) in middle part. Free ends of first lever (11a) of one of the pairs (11) are hinged respectively on immovable axle (13) of hinge intended for fixing of first lever (11a) on hoistway (2) and axle (14) sliding along platform (1). Free ends of second lever (11b) are hinged respectively on immovable axle (16) attached to platform (1) and movable axle (17). Said levers are connected with platform (1) and lift hoistway so that hinge axle (16) of second lever (11b) on platform (1), middle hinge axle (22) of levers (11a, 11b) of pair (11) and hinge axle (13) of first lever (11a) are never superimposed in same plane. Platform (1) is moved by drive unit levers from upper position to lower position at which this platform is located below said movable axle (17).
EFFECT: exclusion of sumpwells in lift hoistway bottom part, decrease of hoistway height, and decrease of lift installation costs.
