FIELD: elevator.

SUBSTANCE: cylindrical elevator contains a cabin, a drive, a counterweight, and cables. At the top of the shaft above the cabin, a supporting beam is rigidly fixed horizontally. Closer to the first end of the beam, a motor is rigidly attached, on the shaft of which a traction sheave is installed. On both sides of the traction sheave there are upper first and second bypass sheaves. Next to the first sheave, closer to the second end of the beam, a bending sheave is placed. In the center of the upper part of the cabin, on the middle section of the supporting beam, there is a lower bypass sheave. The upper and lower sheaves are rotatably mounted on axes located horizontally and parallel to each other. The ends of the cables are fixed relative to the shaft beam. The cables first go around the bending sheave from above, then from below the lower bypass sheave, then exit between the bending and first upper bypass sheave, go around it from above, then the traction sheave from below, then the second upper bypass sheave from above and go between the cabin wall and the shaft to the counterweight, then between the cabin wall and the shaft to the place where their other ends are secured. The side of the lower bypass sheave, from which the cables extend to the first upper bypass sheave, faces the wall of the elevator cabin outside the doorway.

EFFECT: improving the reliability and maintainability of the elevator and reducing its dimensions.
