FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in removing cylinder block head, cranking crankshaft clockwise to move piston to TDC and fitting a sleeve with bottom furnished with a radial side and bottom grooves, as far as it goes till it lower face contacts the piston, into the liner being extracted. Now, crankshaft is cranked counter clockwise till the sleeve bottom stays at the level of the upper face of the liner being extracted or below it. Then, with the help of triangular wedge inserted into the sleeve, interference between the sleeve and liner is created. The crankshaft is cranked clockwise till liner being extracted shits from its initial position upwards. Now the liner is removed from the cylinder block along with the aforesaid sleeve and wedge. Device to this effect is described.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, reduced assembly-disassembly jobs.
