FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: wind or water energy converter is made in the form of energy receivers rigidly fixed on movable bars which rotate a load-carrying axle connected with electric generator. Rotation of energy receivers and load-carrying axle is synchronised with planetary gear in the ratio 2:1. Asynchronised synchronous machine used as an electric generator has a load leveller which is made in the form of no-winding system 'generator/motor with a super flywheel' combined with a three-electrode electronic valve, and which serves as an exciter.
EFFECT: improving wind and water energy conversion efficiency, simplifying hydraulic-power and wind-power station design and reducing the cost thereof as well as providing uninterruptible consumer power supply within the design plant power capacity.
